Paraprofessional

The Para-Professional exam is computer based and is administered upon appointment. The exam fee is $55.00. This is only payable in cash.

The Wakulla County School District also provides a sample exam and the answer key to better prepare testing candidates. Candidates may obtain a study guide or sample exam from the District Office by contacting Leslie Kelly with the Adult Education at 850-926-1841.

All Para-Professional exams are administered in the Pearson Testing Center at the Wakulla County District Administrative Complex located at 69 Arran Road, Crawfordville, Florida32327.

Candidates must score at least 464 to pass the Para-Professional Exam. In the event a candidate does not pass, a 28 day waiting period is required prior to re-taking the exam. In this event all previous steps of taking the exam must be repeated, including paying the exam fee.

Both passing and failing candidates will receive a printed summary of their result immediately upon taking the exam. A more detailed review will be mailed within ten business days of the exam date.
